Current flying sessions for Autumn 2007 Saturday afternoon: The NEW WOOTTON FIELD - check with Dave Stubbs for location. Sunday afternoon: The NEW WOOTTON FIELD We have now sorted the arrangements for getting the field cut. This should improve the flying conditions for the coming season considerably. Looks like it's all 'systems go' for the new field! We've had a few flying sessions there and we are well pleased. Lots of space, ample room for putting out bunjees/winches in any wind direction, nice open perimeter and good safe parking. You all should be receiving a location map very soon. When you come please park on the access road by the entrance gate against the hedge. |

EVENTS
Indoor flying at Turvey Village Hall 7-30 to 10-00pm soon to start again-see below for this seasons dates. All welcome, not just TMAC & Silent Flight members. Do invite interested friends along, if only as spectators. As well as the free flight, there are ever increasingly more R/C indoor models available. Gareth brought some impressive lightweights last season. Mini helis are especially becoming increasingly popular and some of the twin-rotor types are very easy to fly [most are, if anything, too stable and will do little more than hover with forward/reverse flight and banking very limited]. How about baby helicopter racing or combat…. There has been a minimal increase in the venue hire this season, but it remains so reasonable that we should still be viable on £2.50 per-head for those flying; tea & biscuits included.
